Speed/stalker is dropping slightly after finishing third here Sept 27 going 6-furlongs for a $20K tag. Both wins have come here going a mile, so the extra 1/16th he travels today isn't a problem.
2nd pick: #4 (Ice Cream Truck) (4-1) - Veteran is dropping in class and moving from turf to dirt. Strong finisher has run well here in the past 12-1-6-0 and is descending to a new low in claiming price.
3rd pick: #1 (Blackford) (5-2) - Gelding is stringing starts together after coming back from a pair of layoffs in early August. He finished second last out at Los Alamitos going longer and has worked well twice since. In the mix.
