Top pick: #1 (SHAPELY) (2-1) - $200K daughter of "Empire Maker" rallied to finish second here when debuting going "down the hill" at this level March 22nd. Nice first outing and trainer Ron Ellis moves her to the dirt and stretches her out in distance. Working fast, 3-year-old has the rail and gets a slight edge.

2nd pick: #3 (Thisonesforricky) (5-2) - She's finished second in 3-of-5 starts on the local dirt and stalker has been meeting more talented fields than this. Working well, she's another by "Empire Maker" and is a strong win candidate with Bejarano staying aboard.

3rd pick: #7 (Front Range) (3-1) - Beautifully-bred filly raced evenly when finishing third of six when debuting here going 6-furlongs March 29th. Trainer Bob Baffert (26% second time out) has worked her three times since and stretches her out in distance (29%).

4th pick: #4 (Sheza Dish) (6-1) - Lightly-raced 4-year-old has finished third in her last pair and last out was only a "nose" back of "Ricky" while running a career best figure. Home-bred runs third back off a 6 1/2 month layoff and is clearly improving.
