Top pick: #5 (TIZ MIDNIGHT) (2-1) - Lightly-raced daughter of "Midnight Lute" stretches out in distance and goes from "poly" to dirt for this assignment. She finishhed a solid second last out at this level going 6.5-furlongs at Hollywood, and the winner that day came right back to take another. Working fast, she races second off a 7 1/2 month layoff and trainer Bob Baffert has excellent numbers in all the relevant catagories.

2nd pick: #2 (Brilliant Jewel) (8-5) - Daughter of "A.P. Indy" cost $400K as a yearling and has been competitive in all four starts. She races for the first time in a year, has a new trainer (John Shirreffs), and is the major threat if ready

3rd pick: #4 (Legacy) (10-1) - No-speed type stretches back out after running a career best sprinting on the Hollywood turf Dec. 21. Working nicely since, and she has a shot at a big price.
