Top pick: #1 (JIMBARAN BAY) (9-2) - Colt is dropping in class, switching from "poly" to dirt, and will be shortening up in distance. Working well for this attempt, son of "Discreetly Mine" draws the rail and can take this at a square price.

nd pick: #8 (Jet Trick) (5-1) - Gelding enters off a career best when he finished second on Nov. 28th at Del Mar racing at this tag. He's worked fast twice since, retains Bejarano, and is a strong factor.

rd pick: #10 (Life On Riviera) (6-1) - Lightly raced, he exits the same Nov. 28th race as "Jet Trick." Gelding raced close up while wide after breaking from a tough post and was four lengths back of that rival at the finish. Can impact here.

th pick: #6 (Captain Carchy) (6-1) - He split "Jet Trick" & "Life on Riviera" last out in his first at this $30K tag. Stretch runner has worked well since and would love a fast and/or contested pace to develop.

th pick: #5 (Bound for Heaven) (8-1) - Very fast from the gate, he finished a pace-setting second on Dec. 5th on the Los Alamitos dirt going 5.5-furlongs. He's going a furlong farther today, but his early speed must be respected.
