San Antonio at Portland

Portland faces what must be the most brutal early schedule in the history of the NBA. Coming off a game vs. the Lakers, they now face the Spurs. After this game they must travel to face Phoenix and Utah, followed by a game vs. Houston. Ouch! The Blazers offense struggled against Los Angeles and they won't find it any easier-going here vs. the great defense of the Spurs. Against LA, they shot just 34.5% from teh field, putting up 76 points. The Spurs are without a key scorer in Manu Ginobili. Since the 2006-07 season, San Antonio is 16-2 UNDER as a small road favorite of 3 or fewer points. They are also 20-6 UNDER coming off a loss by 6 or less. Coming off a performance in which they allowed 106 points, I like the Spurs defense to really clamp down here, and this game to go UNDER.
