Frank Solich is a good coach. And as good as he is, sometimes he simply doesn't have the talent to compete, but his kids generally improve as the season moves forward. His defense was burned for 56 points in the opener, but since then they have not allowed more than 28 to anyone, and just 15.3 points per game over the last three. While the defense has improved, the offense has produced 30+ in six games on the season, and the results are going from a 1-2 start, to 6-1 in his last seven games. Central Michigan looked like they would be a big player in the MAC. They went to Oklahoma State in Week 2 and shocked the Cowboys 30-27, as a nearly three TD underdog. They opened 3-0, but it all seemed to come crumbling down from that point on, as they are just 2-5 in their last seven games, and have been 1-6 ATS as well. The offense that averaged just shy of 40 ppg in the first four, has been diminished to 21 ppg in their last six. Ohio U has the defense playing well, and these teams are heading in opposite directions. Take the Bobcats tonight.
