The Cubs have come out of the gate firing, winning 13 of 19 and seven of their last eight games. Their offense has pounded in 8.1 runs per game over that recent winning streak. We now get this hot home team at a small price due to Ted Lilly's performance so far (0-3 with 9.16 ERA). He is due for a rebound and the Chicago pen has done well so far (3.56 ERA). The Mets have struggled since last year vs. high-scoring teams (3-12 vs. teams that average 5.3+ runs per game). The Cubs meanwhile have thrived thus far this season vs. poor power teams (8-0 vs. teams averaging under 1 HR per game). We'll ride the hot Cubbies here.
