New York at Toronto

Giancarlo Stanton was 3-for-5 with two homers and a double in his debut with the Yankees. New York went on to a 6-1 win over Toronto in what appears to be an omen for the rest of the AL East this season. Aaron Judge added two hits for the Yankees' powerful offense, which banged out 11 hits. Masahiro Tanaka goes tonight and he was 9-5 at home last season and 3-1 against the Blue Jays, who appear to already have a problem at third base with Josh Donaldson experiencing a shoulder problem and he can't throw. Toronto also won't have shortstop Troy Tulowitzki, who was put on the 60-day disabled list and hasn't played since July. Aaron Sanchez had problems with blisters all season in 2017 and had a 6.92 ERA at home in four appearances.
