Minnesota at Tampa Bay

The Minnesota Twins took care of business here last night, and still hold a half game lead over Texas for a Wild Card spot. Tampa Bay is on the outside looking in at 62-64, but they trail the Twins by just three games, and this becomes a must-win game at home, as a loss pushes them four games back. The Rays certainly could have won last night, but left the sacks full three times. Tommy Milone takes the mound for the Twins, and it has been a struggle, as he has notched the win in just one of his last six starts. Drew Smyly has been masterful over his career vs. the Twins, as he owns a stingy 1.84 ERA against them in 14 career appearances, four of which were starts. The Twins have been sinking on the road vs. a left hander where they stand at 1-8 in their last nine against one, contrary to the Rays' 16-6 mark in their last 22 vs. a southpaw.
