The Oakland A's have done more with less than any team in baseball, and at 10 games over .500 are very much in the wildcard race in the AL. They have been a bit stagnant in their last 16 games, posting an 8-8 record despite seven of the games vs. teams that are below .500 on the season. Tom Milone was sailing along until his last four starts, and his ERA has risen to over 4. Milone has allowed 20 earned runs over those last four starts for an ERA of 7.50. This is his first full MLB season and as his innings rise, now over 145, he seems to be breaking down.
