WIN

As usual in most Princeton games, this will be a contrast of styles. Marshall likes to get up and down the floor, while Princeton likes to run their patient offense built on screens and back-cuts. Princeton has struggled most this season vs. teams that play sticky defense, but that is not what we will find from Marshall. Marshall is yielding 77+ ppg, and that is not the recipe of teams to beat Princeton. There are not too many teams in the country that have a winning record without a double-digit scorer, but that is not what makes Princeton go. They win because all 5 players on the court play an equal role. What typically happens to teams that have not seen Princeton, especially running teams that aren't commited on the defensive end, is they begin to rush offensively and lose patience on defense. Princeton executes those last 7-8 seconds on the shot clock better than anyone. Princeton is giving up 53 ppg, and this will be uncharted territory for Marshall. We expect Princeton to work their magic again.
