Kenta Maeda finally put together a good outing his last start against the Phillies. However, the right-hander still has a 6.58 ERA on the season and has given up seven home runs in 26 innings of work. Maeda has been touched for 10 runs and 14 hits in 10 innings on the road. In one appearance against San Diego, he allowed three runs and six hits in five innings. Obviously, Petco Park is perfect for Jhoulys Chacin as he has not allowed a run in two home starts this season, covering 14 2/3 innings while giving up only six hits with 10 strikeouts. The Dodgers are 10-6 at home but only 5-8 on the road and they have lost four of Maeda's last five road starts and seven of his last 10 overall dating to last season. Take the Padres.
