The midwest has experienced some pretty horrible weather, and the number of games postponed thus far has reached 27. The Tigers will host Kansas City in a day/night doubleheader today, and the Tigers will send Michael Fulmer to the mound for the early game. He will be opposed by Jason Hammel. The Royals bring an eight-game losing streak into this contest, and so far the 3-13 Royals have had no answers. The KC bullpen has been woeful, collectively going 0-5 with an ERA of a staggering 7.94. That has led Kansas City to being out-scored by nearly 2.5 runs per game on the season. Fulmer owns a career 3.33 ERA vs. the Royals, and that should be good enough here. Play on Detroit.
