Top pick: #7 (MADELINEISPICKIN) (6-1) - Lightly-raced daughter of the speedy "Henny Hughes" ships in from Prairie Meadows where she broke her maiden in gate-to-wire fashion going 6 furlongs on the dirt July 26th. She stretches-out in distance and tries the grass, both for the first time and is bred to like both. It's nice to see that they've engaged Mike Mena to ride and I like this filly's chances.
2nd pick: #5 (Starship Courage) (9-5) - The probable favorite, she's the only fill entered who has won on the grass before and she did it on this course on July 15th. Speed/stalker was competitive last out at this level and is a strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #1 (Moneygrabber) (3-1) - Well-bred filly stretches out and drops down after an even effort here sprining for a $25K tag on Aug. 2. Race was her first since May 31st and this daughter of "Awesome Again" will be closing fast.
4th pick: #3 (Indiana Annie) (4-1) - Hoosier-bred tries hard every time out and will be stretching out in distance and trying the turf, both for the first time. May get a small share.
