Top pick: #9 (LUCK BY DESIGN) (9-2) - She comes off a near miss at this level and distance on July 8th and did so despite being "bumped" at the break. Barn (Joe Davis) is better than its record and this filly draws a nice post for her one-run style.
2nd pick: #11 (Nearctic Beauty) (10-1) - Well-backed at the windows when debuting on July 2nd, she raced very wide after breaking for the 10 post and it's nice to see trainer Tim Glyshaw bring her back in three weeks for her second start.
3rd pick: #8 (Flatter Me Fiona) (8-1) - Much improved in her second start, daughter of "Flatter" raced close up and finished fourth, only 1 1/2 lengths back of "Design." Bred/owned and trained by Steve West, filly can factor at a square price.
4th pick: #6 (Devil Gentle) (3-1) - She's improved noticeably in last few starts and last out was a nose better than "Design." Blinkers have helped her since they were added and she's an obvious threat in her present form.
