Top pick: #2 (COZI ROSIE) - Talented daughter of "Pleasantly Perfect" has improved noticeably since trainer John Sadler moved her to the grass 14 months ago. Filly is (5-2-2-0) since then, including a pair of stakes victories. She finished second last out to today's rival Malibu Pier in only her second race since last May and can take this with a bit of improvement.
2nd pick: #8 (Celtic Princess) - Champion in her native Brazil won some very important races there and did so facing males many times. She was an easy wire-to-wire winner at Santa Anita in late Dec. in her first race in 7 months and is training very fast for this. Almost made her the top pick.
3rd pick: #7 (Malibu Pier) - Consistent filly by "Malibu Moon" is 4-for-6 on the grass and defeated "Rosie" last out in the G2 Santa Barbara by a 1/2 length. Working fast since, she has more tactical speed than most, and must be left in the final mix.
