Top pick: #4 (COLIZEO) - Appears on the verge of breaking thru into the big time after as he's (6-3-0-2) in smaller stake since an allowance win at Churchill Downs last May. Son of "Distorted Humor" was a sharp looking winner in a $60K stakes at Tampa March 5 in his first race three months and looks set for his first graded stakes triumph.
2nd pick: #3 (Our Dark Knight) - One of a pair entered by the barn of Nick Zito and they'll race uncoupled. Colt was a handy winner over cheaper here in his seasonal debut, then raced wide and evenly last out in the G2 Gulfstream Park Hdcp. He has fine positional speed and is a threat at a nice price.
3rd pick: #10 (S.S. Stone) - The second of the Zito pair has won three in a row at this meet and has done so from both on and off the pace. Much too sharp to ignore and his speed in this field makes him very dangerous.
4th pick: #1 (Drosselmeyer) - Last year's Belmont Stakes (G1) winner won an allowance on this surface 14 months ago and is training nicely at Palm Meadows for his second start since his big win in New York last June. Has the rail and he should move forward off his 4th place finish to Colizeo at Tampa.
