(# 8) SWEET BEAT - Filly by Tiznow trained by the crafty Michael Stidham,had one start on the dirt at Hawthorne in early November. Was bet down to 4 to 1 in sprint and ran rather evenly. Blinkers go on and Stidham moves her to grass which is his strong suit. Stidham goes to jockey Jamie Theriot and they have hit at just over 20% together including two wins already at this relatively new meeting.

(# 1) Minute Maid - Put in very good try in only turf race to date at Louisiana Downs. Pressed pace while wide and stayed on well to run 3rd. Was given some time off and returned in dirt sprint after training quite fast over local strip. That try should set her up well for a presumed front running attempt in here. Having the hedge will also aid her.

(# 3) Easily Swayed - Scott Blasi has regrouped with her after putting together six starts with several fair tries over the lawn. Actually won a race over Turfway"s Polytrack but was disqualified.

(# 7) Ruth - $300,000 yearling comes from California to Louisiana, and Wesley Ward to Ronny Werner. Only race was with a wide post at Fairplex bullring.
