He's worked here since and will be tough with just a bit of improvement.
2nd pick: #7 (Masco Yodeler) (5-1) - Home bred bobbled at the break and was beaten by 3.5 lengths by 'Take the One O One' July 13 at Los Alamitos. Even paced in his first three, I think he'll be at his best given today's longer distance.
3rd pick: #6 (King Eddie) (12-1) - Reddam home bred hasn't shown much in either start so far. Very wide in both, he's working nicely for his first since June 16. Colt is another who may factor at a square price.
4th pick: #5 (Whoodat) (4-1) - Very wide in his debut, he was only a length in back of 'Take the One O One' while three clear of 'Masco Yodeler.' Home bred by 'Ghostzapper' must be left in the mix.
5th pick: #8 (Blackhawk Beauty) (7-2) - Training fast and bred for speed, this $40,000 purchase is in a good barn (Jeff Bonde). Most all of this colt's works are above average and, he could impact if ready.
