Cleveland at Los Angeles

The Cleveland Indians looked like a team that was turning the corner early in the season, but they have proven to be pretenders, not contenders as evidenced by their 8-21 run over their last 29 games, placing them solidly south of the .500 mark. Justin Masterson has had some good outings but when he is bad, he is awful. Masterson has allowed six or more runs in six of his 24 starts this season and the Angels lineup has been pretty good since their dreadful start to the season. The Tribe has had pitching ills of late and after allowing 5+ in their last game, they have gone 2-14 in their next one. The Angels offense has rebounded well off a poor showing in their last game scoring two or less, to follow by going 36-15 in their last 51. C.J. Wilson has been their most effective stopper leading the Angels to an 8-1 mark following a loss. Play on LA.
