Chicago at Pittsburgh

The Pittsburgh Pirates have surprised a lot of people this year, and they have responded with an above .500 record for the season. There are signs that this young and fragile team may be slipping as the dog days are upon us. The Pirates lost to the Cubs last night 5-3, and that makes four straight losses, and overall they are just 3-9 over their last 12 games. The once solid pitching has betrayed them as they have now allowed 28 runs over their last four games, for 7 per contest. Kevin Correia has pitched poorly at home the entire season where he is just 2-6 with a 6.62 ERA, with the Pirates 0-4 in his last four starts as a favorite. I like the Cubs in this one.
