We won on the Cards yesterday and this is obviously a bit of a contrarian play to fade the red-hot Cardinals. But, desperate for a win, the Cubs look to Greg Maddux. Maddux isn't looking like a 40 year old. He's 3-0 with a 1.33 ERA and has a solit 24-18 lifetime win % against St. Louis. Marquis is great too but Maddux has the edge. Marquis is only 23-29 as a home favorite and he's just 1-3 when starting against the Cubs. Getting Maddux as a dog is too good to pass up. Cubs in a low scoring game here.
