Chicago has talent on offense, as we saw in yesterday's 12-1 blowout win as a +160 dog. White Sox shortstop Alexei Ramirez collected four hits in the series opener and is 13-for-24 over his last six games. The White Sox have a very live lefty going in Jose Quintana (3.75 ERA), with the team 3-0 over his last three starts. He has a winning road record this season with a 3.55 ERA. The White Sox are 9-4 in Quintana's last 13 starts after allowing 2 runs or fewer in their previous game. Chicago is also 4-1 against a left-handed starter and faces Royals southpaw Danny Duffy (4.11 ERA). Duffy has already made four starts against the White Sox this season, and has permitted 8 runs in 8 1/3 innings in both outings at Kauffman Stadium. Victor Carapazza is calling balls and strikes tonight and the road team is 6-0 when he is behind home plate, all of which makes this another strong spot for the division dog.
