(# 1) WILDSUMMERNIGHTS - Two year old filly trained by Ralph Ziadie who is having great late in the year meeting at Calder. This marks turf debut for her. She has progressed nicely after being given some time by the patient Ziadie. Hedge draw a help and the two turn dirt race she comes out of should have her set up well for today's race. Jockey Fuentes and Ziadie almost 20% when teaming up.

(# 6) Hall a Day - Filly by El Corredor was well supported at the windows while making first two starts against maiden special competition. Takes an all important drop into the claiming ranks today. Think she'll run big in this spot. Filly moves to much better post for today's try.

(# 5) Double Or Quits - Lasix is added, goes short to long, and dirt to turf. More experienced jock also part of the makeover. Think improved speed will be the result of all the changes.

(# 9) Survived - Trained by the slick Norman Pointer. Another going from sprinting on turf to running long on the grass. Breeding (Sire is Stravinsky) suggests turf shouldn't pose a problem.
