(# 4) BANK ON SILVER - She's been plugging right along, running hot and cold, but not getting the job done. Last race represented her best ever speed figure and off of that fact trainer Norman Pointer adds blinkers today to try and put filly over the top. Should be up close most of the race and the blinkers may have her in front.

(# 2) Give Me a Smooch - Nice effort in a race that came "off the turf" in last. Ran well for second and she also gets blinkers. Daughter of fine grass sire Kissin Kris broke poorly in only turf race to date, which was also her debut outing.

(# 1) Ace Kicker - Don't know why she ran so badly in last as all prior grass tries at this level have been good efforts. Maybe she just had a bad day. Any return to the prior numbers makes her a contender for the top spot.

(# 5) A Splash of Class - Goes turf to dirt and stretches out in distance. Sire West Acre is fine with grass runners. Ran on well in last despite a bad beginning to a runaway winner. Trainer O'Connell has o.k. numbers in the relevant categories.
