Boston College at Purdue

The venue moves to the Garden for the NIT Season Tip-Off with the #10 ranked Boilermakers facing the Boston College Eagles in an ACC vs BIG-10 showdown. The Eagles beat a pair of mediocre teams at home, but when they hit the road vs another so-so team in St. Louis they found themselves coming up short. The Eagles are going to struggle on offense this season as witnessed by their poor showing vs St. Louis who held them to 33% for the game. The Eagles shooting wasn't limited to the field as they connected on just 11-19 from the charity stripe and got beaten badly off the boards as well by 11. Purdue is an experienced, well coached team, that is very talented. While the Eagles struggle on the offensive end, they will face their biggest challenge of the season as Purdue has come up big on the defensive end allowing just 32.9% against them. Not sure where the points come from for the Eagles, who aren't good at running down their misses either.  Purdue gets the call here.
