2nd pick: #3 (A Day Away) (4-1) - Darley runner hasn't seen action since last Sept. when he finished third of nine, beaten just over a length on the Golden Gate turf facing high-end starter-allowance foes. Working fine for his return, he has a good record on "poly" surfaces (3-1-1-1), and will be dropping to a new low. Strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #6 (Twin Six ) (2-1) - He missed by a nose here at this tag and trip on June 13th in his first race since April 19th. Well-bred, has back class, and is in the three horse win mix, though at a very short price. Gelding by "Include" would be no surprise.
