(# 4) GRANNY FANNY - Goes first time tagged for the George Weaver barn. Big effort on the Saratoga lawn in debut appearance at two last August. Broke from a poor post (9) going two-turns, made a wide sweeping move around the far turn, got the lead and lost on the wire. Not seen again until this spring over Keeneland's Polytrack, she ran wide, and was never really involved, in race won by a promising Pletcher filly (Mini Sermon). Moves back to the grass, drops in class, and is working regularly at the Spa.

(# 11) Ivory Star - The seven furlong distance of this race, combined with her outside post, should make the filly very tough to beat. Has some speed to go along with a stalking gear if needed. Should get into a perfect position around the turn. Will have to outkick the choice.

(# 9) Morereadythannot - Shown a good closing gear in last pair on dirt. I thought she had a good chance turning for home in latest, but winner Go Michelle kicked clear late. Appears to have attained racing fitness, so trainer Toscano tries the surface switch.
