Top pick: #1 (Entry of #1 (TEEN PAULINE) and 1a (KAUAI KATIE)) (6-5) - Lightly raced filly is part of an entry with #1a "Kauai Katie" and the pair gives trainer Todd Pletcher a strong hand in this G3 stakes. This speedy daughter of "Tapit" goes second off a nine month break and can take this on the front end. "Katie" is cutting back in distance after finishing a pace-chasing third here going a mile on May 27th in the "Acorn" stakes (G1). She completes a strong entry.
2nd pick: #2 (Fusaichiwonderful) (3-1) - She was undefeated (5-for-5) and untested last year racing in Puerto Rico, and showed that the record was no "fluke" when she ran well in a trio of stakes at Gulfstream this past winter. Filly has the rail, plenty of speed, and is dangerous.
3rd pick: #3 (Native One) (12-1) - Daughter of "Indian Charlie" was an easy winner when debuting here on July 4th of 2012, and did not run again until June 5th when she finished a pace-pressing third. That should set her up nicely for this as she makes back-to-back starts for the first time.
