2nd pick: #9 (Epping Forest) (5-2) - Consistent filly drops down in class following a pair of good efforts in stakes races. She rallied to miss by just under a length in a $100K grass sprint July 31 at Saratoga, then had a wide trip when finishing fourth here in another $100K contest at this distance Sept. 8. An obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #5 (May Flowers) (8-1) - Strong finisher moves up in class after winning a high-end starter-allowance here at this distance Sept. 22. Mare is capable of getting a share at a square price, but would need a career best to defeat either of the top two selections.
4th pick: #3 (Libby's Tale) (6-1) - Stakes place in 2016 as a 2-year-old, filly is trying the grass for the first time. Competitive in one of two at this level sprinting on the dirt since coming off almost a seven month layoff in early August, she may factor if the grass is to her liking.
