Top pick: #8 (SHE'S GOT ENERGY) - Very lightly raced filly tracked and weakened slightly last out to run fourth, 4 1/2 lengths back of today's rival Dean Avenue. Race was her first in 7 months and first on the grass. Trainer Dom Schettino has given her almost six weeks to recover and he'll shorten this filly up in distance today. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #6 (Haunted Melody) - Daughter of "Ghostzapper" tired badly facing much tougher going a mile last out and "Hall of Fame" trainer Frank Martin will drop her way down and cut her back in distance today. Looks all set for her best.
3rd pick: #1 (Dean Avenue) - Filly has fine early speed and her inside post means she'll be sent hard early and try and take them "all the way." Three-year-old has finished close-up thirds in her last pair and will be competitive again this afternoon.
