Top pick: #1 (MISSILE NICK) - "Nick" has had some tough posts of late and also has been facing much tougher fields, although at the same tag. Stalker draws the rail, faces only one major drop down, and will get the addition of blinkers.
2nd pick: #8 (Nine Links) - Gelding regressed a bit in his second start when he raed wide before tiring when finishing 3 lengths back of "Nick". 3-year-old has worked fast since, presumably with the blinkers on that trainer Dom Galluscio will add this afternoon.
3rd pick: #4 (Saguaro Blossom) - The field's only major "drop down" has been showing good early speed sprinting on the turf facing state-bred special weights. Trainer Joe Aquilino moves him to the main-track and drops him into a claimer for the first time.
