Top pick: #5 (TRICKMEISTER) - Small field enters the gate in this $90K "overnight" stakes and it drew last year's Travers (G1) winner "Stay Thirsty". This speedy runner is one of two entered in this contest by trainer Rick Dutrow and the pair race uncoupled. 5-year-old tasted defeat for the first time at Gulfstream on Feb. 11 when he tired after setting the pace in the (G1) Donn Hdcp. He'd gone wire-to-wire in his first five starts and is working sharply for this. Son of "Proud Citizen" has the best chance at a possible "upset".

2nd pick: #2 (Stay Thirsty) - He's been a top colt ever since he came to the races and last year went back-to-back at Saratoga in the Jim Dandy S. (G2) and four weeks later he repeated that effort when he won the $1,000,000 Travers S. (G1). He closed out his 2011 campaign by tiring to finish out of the money in the Breeders' Cup Classic (G1) in early Nov. at Churchill Downs. Working well for his return and son of "Bernardini" finished second on this surface last June in the Belmont Stakes (G1). He'd be no surprise.
