Top pick: #7 (GROUND FORCE) - Consistent sort has run well in three of his last 4 starst at this level and last out had some traffic issues early on. He's exchanged decisions with the probable favorie (#8 Crib Note) and has fine early speed. Gets a slight edge over that rival.
2nd pick: #8 (Crib Note) - He had some real promise and ability as a 2yo back in 2008, but was away almost three years before returning this past August at Saratoga. He's finished 3rd in both starts since coming back and trainer Rick Violette will add blinkers this afternoon in an attempt to get some more early speed out of him.
3rd pick: #3 (Rizzi's Comet) - A bit cheaper than the top pair but he's improved lately and is working fast for his first start since Sep.4th. Has a good closing kick and is dangerous down the lane at a nice price.
