Premium Pick

Top pick: #5 (MAKE MY MOVE) - Lightly raced, 3yo goes 3rd off a 2 1/2 month break and a very good small barn (Angel Penna Jr.) will drop him down in price, switch him from turf to dirt, andshorten him up a bit. Gelded son of "Midway Road" meets a very weak field and is the choice for the win.

2nd pick: #2 (Pure Craft) - At one time trainer Carlos Martin was one of the best on this tough circuit when his maidens were making their 2nd start. That's fallen off a bit the past two years but these things tend to go in cycles. This gelding by "Stephen Got Even" showed some speed while wide when debuting in a grass sprint May 30 racing for $25K. Drops, goes turf to dirt, and he'll stretch-out in distance. Win candidate.

3rd pick: #4 (Jazbo) - He's had trouble in his first pair at the start facing tougher and takes a big drop in price and stretches-out in distance. He should be competitive against these.
