Ubaldo Jimenez had a shaky outing against the Yankees, but his team pulled out a 6-5 win on Friday and he did strike out five and walked only one in 4 1/3 innings in very cold weather. Knuckleballer Steven Wright gave up four runs and seven hits in 6 2/3 innings in Boston's 6-5 loss at Detroit on Friday. Wright had an ERA of 4.54 at home last year compared to 2.09 on the road and his ERA his last three starts at Fenway Park was 10.44. Baltimore has won six of Jimenez's last seven starts and 13 of his last 16 starts in the second game of a series dating to last season. The Red Sox have lost eight straight starts by Wright when the opponent scored two or fewer runs its previous game. Play the Orioles.
