Atlanta at Los Angeles

Neither team has lost a postseason game so we're looking at a potentially exciting series, but Los Angeles is on a mission after coming so close the last few years, and it does have the advantage at most positions. The Dodgers have won nine games in a row and haven't lost since Sept. 23, and they just swept a very good San Diego team. This is the first meeting this season and the Dodgers won four of six meetings in 2019. Max Fried has had a great year in 2020 and is the likely starter for this game, but in two appearances against the Dodgers last year he gave up seven runs on 12 hits in only six innings. The left-hander was not effective his last outing when he gave up four runs on six hits in four innings against the Marlins on Tuesday. Clayton Kershaw is expected to go for the Dodgers and so far he has not had his normal postseason troubles as he has allowed three runs in 14 innings in two starts against Milwaukee and the Padres.
