They traded closer Brad Ziegler, who has 18 saves, to the Boston Red Sox on Friday night. Robbie Ray is 4-7 with a 4.78 ERA, allowed four runs and eight hits in six innings against San Francisco his last start, and the Diamondbacks have lost seven of his last nine starts. Jake Peavy comes off a good performance against Colorado when he gave up only one run and five hits in 6 2/3 innings.
