2nd pick: #8 (Turn and Bern) (6-1) - She chased the pace before weakening to finish fourth, 7 lengths in back of 'Moss Hot Stones' when debuting at this level and distance Oct. 5 at Belmont Park. Broman home bred worked a very sharp half-mile Oct. 27 and daughter of 'Bernardini' is a win candidate at a square price.
3rd pick: #4 (Reata's Reward) (8-1) - Bet down to 2-1 favoritism when debuting for a $50,000 tag Sept. 21 at Belmont, she chased while wide and before rallying late to secure the place spot. Claimed that afternoon by Dave Cannizzo he has her working fast while moving her up in class. New trainer wins at a very good 28% clip first off the claim and he has Joel Rosario back on the re-ride.
4th pick: #12 (Queenofeverything) (10-1) - One of five making their debuts, she has some fast works showing on the training track at Saratoga and trainer Jim Bond has Jose Ortiz aboard. When teamed up the pair has won with 8 of 30 (27%) over the past 22.5 months.
