Top pick: #1 (VEX) - Filly was favored facing tougher on Feb. 16 in her first off a three month break and first off a trainer switch to Rudy Rodriguez. She broke "outward" in that sprint and after playing catch-up she tired to finish fourth of six. She's had a nice work since and the barn drops her way down, stretches her out in distance, and she draws the rail. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #8 (Now Now Girl) - Heavily bet last out when she was dropped in price and stretched-out in distance off a three month break by her new trainer (Bruce Levine) and she held to finish second after setting the pace. The winner that day came back to take another and this daughter of "Tiznow" is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #4 (Scout Exchange) - Much improved last out in her second start off a 3 1/2 month break as filly was near the pace through-out and was 3 lengths back of "Now Now Girl" at the finish. Can factor with a similar effort.
