Top pick: #5 (GEAUX METS) (7-2) - The Jacobson barn (two wins yesterday) sends out this lightly-raced grey son of "Posse" to face winners for the first time. Colt was a sharp maiden winner here on Nov. 22 in his first off a 2 1/2 month break and first for Jacobson. Nicely spotted and the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #4 (Court Dancer) (2-1) - The probable favorite, filly takes on males and will go turf to dirt and shortens up in distance. Stakes placed on the dirt and she has excellent early speed.
3rd pick: #2 (Native Hero) (5-1) - Gelding was an easy maiden winner here Nov. 7, then chased and held to run second at this level and distance last out. Stalker must be left in the win mix.
4th pick: #6 (Bass River Road) (6-1) - Home-bred was a "gutsy" winner when debuting on Nov. 23 and paid $55. The "figure" earned was strong and grey gelding can factor with a repeat of it.
