Top pick: #8 (SUMMER IN BALI) (5-2) - Filly did not break sharply in her local debut on March 14th, but rallied to finish second to a "much the best" winner. It was her first race since Oct. 12, first on conventional dirt, and first in a claomer. Claimed that day by Michelle Nevin for $20K, she brings her back five weeks later, drops her down, has a positive rider change, and filly draws a nice outside post. The horse to beat.

2nd pick: #7 (Cajun Wedding) (6-1) - Home-bred by "Broken Vow" raced both wide and evenly racing for a $40K tag March 13th. Trainer Linda Rice drops her down to a new low and filly should contend this afternoon.

3rd pick: #3 (Sal's Wonderfulgirl) (9-5) - Speedy sort takes a slight drop and last out tired badly to finish fourth, a length back of "Bali." It was her first in blinkers and she should be involved from start-to-finish.

4th pick: #4 (Miss Red Cloud) (6-1) - A rare Dave Jacobson claim that hasn't improved since joining his barn. She's raced evenly in her last pair and her lack of early speed is an issue. Daughter of "Montbrook" would benefit if a fast and/or contested pace were to develop.
