LOSS

Something has changed at Alabama as they finally have a potent offense. John Parker Wilson has thrown well (just two picks) and the Bama backfield tandom of Grant and Coffee have pounded out over 700 yards already. The defenses in this game are pretty even, separated by about 20 yards per game, but their is no doubt which team has the offensive firepower to sustain drives. Florida State will bring a bad offense that is ranked just #90 in the country. That isn't good enough vs. a potent Bama attack, and equal defense. The Seminoles don't even have a reciever that has caught more than 8 passes, and the ground game features Antone Smith, with just 218 yards and not much else. The Noles old achillies heel may crop up to be a factor if this is close, as PK Gary Cismesia has not connected from beyond 40 yards yet this season. While technically a home game for the Seminoles, each team received an equal number of tickets. The Tide are 21-8-1 ATS in their last 30 as a road underdog. We like the Tide to come out with the mild upset in this one.
