Georgia is scoring 59.3 points per game, the most of any team in the country, and its one real test so far didn’t slow it down much. The Bulldogs went to Arkansas last week, ran for 254 yards, held the Razorbacks to 17 on the ground, and led 31-3 after three quarters. Oklahoma has the defense to make this uncomfortable, allowing 7.7 points per game, tied for third nationally. The offense is the problem. The Sooners have scored 10 and 14 points in their last two games, failed to reach 300 yards in either,r and turned it over five times across them. I had the UNDER when Oklahoma went to Michigan two weeks ago, and the Sooners managed a touchdown and a field goal in a 17-10 loss. That offense now opens SEC play on the road against an unbeaten team that already has a conference win. Oklahoma can keep the score down for a half. It can’t score enough to win.Virginia is coming off its first loss, a 38-27 home defeat to West Virginia in which the Mountaineers ran for 247 yards. Delaware isn’t built to exploit that. The Blue Hens ran for 98 and 93 yards in their two games against FBS opponents and have leaned heavily on the pass. Virginia’s ground game will decide this one. The Cavaliers ran for 258 yards against NC State and 157 against West Virginia, and they average 40.0 points per game, top 30 in the country. Delaware did play Vanderbilt tough on the road, leading 17-14 at halftime. Vanderbilt scored 21 in the third quarter and won by nine. This is Delaware’s second season at the FBS level, and a trip to an ACC team with a loss to answer for is a lot to ask. Southern Miss has allowed 91 points in its two games against FBS opponents, 43 to Auburn and 48 to UConn, and gave up 343 and 213 rushing yards in them. Tulane is 1-2 and scores 17.0 points per game, 128th of 138 FBS teams. Both losses came on the road against power-conference teams, Duke and Kansas State. The one home game looked different: 424 yards, 212 of them on the ground, in a 28-24 win over South Alabama. Southern Miss has scored 8 and 20 points against FBS teams and turned it over four times in those games. Tulane hasn’t turned it over in either of its last two. Georgia at -525, Virginia at -1150, and Tulane at -900 are prices nobody wants to lay one at a time. Stacked on one ticket, they come to -228. None of the three has to cover. Each has to win, and in every game the favorite’s strength lines up against the opponent’s weakest unit. Georgia, Virginia, and Tulane are the parlay today.
