St. Louis Blues vs Vegas Golden Knights

Vegas goes for its third win a row and sixth in eight games as it has recovered somewhat from some key injuries partially due to a trade that acquired defenseman Noah Hanifin from Calgary that has paid quick dividends. The Golden Knights beat Columbus 4-2 on Saturday night with Adin Hill (12 saves) and Logan Thompson (8 saves) sharing duties in net and Thompson is confirmed for tonight's game as Hill is out for an undisclosed reason. Thompson is 19-12-5 with a 2.77 goals-against average and a .905 save percentage. Jordan Binnington is probable for St. Louis and he allowed four goals as the Blues won 5-4 over Minnesota on Saturday. Take the Golden Knights.

Vegas gets a chance for quick revenge after losing 2-1 in overtime to the Blues on Monday night when Pavel Buchnevich scored 38 seconds into OT to beat Logan Thompson, who had 25 saves for the Golden Knights. Thompson is likely in net again tonight as Adin Hill is questionable with a lower body injury. Jordan Binnington will be in net for St. Louis and he is 8-6-1, starting for the fifth time in six games. The Blues have split their past 10 games and Vegas is 14-5 its past 19 games against the Central Division. The Golden Knights have also won six of eight meetings at St. Louis.
