Washington at Toronto

Washington looks to bounce back from two crushing overtime losses, including blowing a two-goal second period lead on Monday. Braden Holtby made 24 saves for the Capitals before Tyler Bozak scored the game-winner 1:37 into overtime for the Maple Leafs.  Washington has won five of its last six road games against winning teams, plus 8 of 11 versus Toronto, and can regain home ice advantage with a win. Holtby is 42-13-6 with a stellar 2.07 goals-against average and .925 save percentage. Toronto has not been a strong defensive team all year, ranked #22 in goals allowed. But they lead 2-1 in this series because the pace has been up-tempo. Toronto is fifth in goals scored, second on the power play and has scored 10 goals in three games against Washington. Toronto is 33-15-5 OVER the total at home against a team with a winning road record. Washington has plenty of offensive firepower, too, scoring three goals in each of the three games. Washington is third in the NHL in goals scored and on the power play, on an 8-2-1 run OVER the total on the road. Toronto is just 11-29 against teams with winning percentages of .600 or higher and the Capitals have won 50 of their last 65 games against Atlantic Division teams. Take both the Capitals to even the series and the OVER.
