The teams are finally meeting for the first time this season. Vegas won its third straight 6-4 over Los Angeles on Wednesday, even without its five Olympians, who played in Sunday's gold medal game. Adin Hill had 15 saves for the Golden Knights, who scored five times in the third period. Vegas has gone OVER seven of its past 10 games and five of six on the road. The Knights have scored 15 goals in three games. They have won six of the past nine meetings with Washington. All five of the missing players are expected to play tonight. Logan Thompson will start for the Capitals with a 2.41 goals-against average, but his record is only 20-16-4 in 2025-26. Hill has won his past two starts while stopping 47 of 52 shots.
