Vegas at New York

Vegas is having the same trouble it had last season and that is injuries to some key players and the Golden Knights have lost five of their past six games, including 3-2 in overtime at New Jersey on Tuesday and that followed a 4-1 loss to the lowly Coyotes two days before. Adin Hill is likely in net tonight as the Knights would like to give Logan Thompson a break after some hard-luck losses. Hill lost his last start 3-2 to Detroit on Jan. 19. The Golden Knights will be facing their former coach, Gerard Gallant, and the Rangers won the first meeting this season 5-1 in December. New York goalie Igor Shersterkin is 21-8-7 with a 2.45 goals-against average and the Rangers have won eight of 11 at home and six straight overall versus Western Conference teams. Play the Rangers.
