Florida is the two-time defending Stanley Cup champion. But you sure wouldn't know that, judging by how the Panthers have been playing. Only a one-goal victory against the Bruins keeps the Panthers from having a six-game losing streak. Florida has lost to the Penguins, Sabers, Devils, Red Wings, and Flyers during this span. The Panthers' latest defeat came at the hands of the Penguins, 5-3, at home this past Thursday. Now the Panthers get their toughest draw yet - the hot Golden Knights, who have won four in a row. Las Vegas has five victories on the season. The Golden Knights' defeats came in overtime and in a shootout. Las Vegas is first in the NHL in scoring, averaging 4.29 goals per game, and third in power play efficiency. Mitch Marner has been a nice addition to the Golden Knights with two goals and 10 points. Jack Eichel is also having a big start with six goals and 16 points. The spot is good for Las Vegas, too, as the Golden Knights haven't played since Monday. So they will be fully rested and prepared. Take the Golden Knights.
