After perhaps playing their best game of the season in a 5-1 close-out Game 6 road win against Utah in their first-round series, the Golden Knights find themselves on familiar ground. They are tied 1-1 with the Ducks with Game 3 in Anaheim. The Golden Knights went to Utah at 1-1 and then won that series in six games. The Ducks have been playing the Golden Knights tough. However, there have been positive signs for Las Vegas, and the Ducks lack the Golden Knights' postseason experience. The Ducks had an eight-year playoff drought prior to this season. Carter Hart has given the Golden Knights their most consistent goalie play of the season. Las Vegas has also killed off 19 straight penalties this postseason and is 24 of 25 overall on the penalty kill.
